The Wellshire 18 hole regulation Golf Course was originally a private country club that was purchased by the city and county of Denver when the club experienced difficult financial times in the 1950´s. The course was originally built in 1926 by Donald Ross and remains today as one of the most picturesque golf courses in Denver. The historic Wellshire Inn currently serves as an event center open to the public.
